Basket Weaving Workshop, Lower Nehalem Community Trust

Part of the Nature Break community programming series, which connects people to place, this hands-on workshop will be led by Grand Ronde Tribal member Stephanie Craig.

This is the second of a two-part workshop exploring native plants. In the first session, participants will harvest rushes and learn how to process them at Alder Creek Farm in Nehalem. On November 8th, they’ll gather again at The Pine Grove to learn the art of weaving with these natural materials.

The workshop is open to everyone, but registration is required to ensure a manageable group size and give Stephanie the opportunity to work closely with participants.
